Dean Teasdale

As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Dean is also the exclusive agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan through the Parry Sound Chamber of Commerce. Dean started his career in the insurance business in 1988, coming to Norbram after graduating with his Honours Bachelor of Science degree. Dean immediately focused on servicing the Markham Board of Trade on behalf of Norbram. As well as this account, Dean handled two other Canada-wide association plans.
With that experience Dean started his own firm in 1993. Highdale Insurance Brokerage focused exclusively on employee benefit plans for small to medium sized business. Through Highdale, Dean became a leading producer for Desjardin Financial and Manulife Financial.
Coming full circle, Dean has now returned to Norbram in his new role as President and is happy to be back as the broker for the Markham Board of Trade and the recently acquired Parry Sound Chamber of Commerce.
Dean has previously served as Vice President of Big Sisters of Ontario and is a past President of the Aurora Rotary Club.
George Dell

As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, George is one of the exclusive agents for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan.
Beginning his insurance career with Great West Life in 1976, George then opened his own brokerage firm, Norbram Group Insurance, in 1978. Norbram has become a leader in sales of life and group insurance with Great West Life, Manulife Financial and Empire Life, as well as being Canada's largest broker to offer the Chambers of Commerce Group Plan. Currently George is the active CEO of Norbram.
George has been involved as a volunteer with the Polo for Heart for over 25 years and served for 20 years as a committee member with the Royal Winter Fair. As well as being a top insurance agent, George is also a tennis player, avid boater and formerly an Olympic equestrian judge and polo player.
Richard A. Long

As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Richard is also the exclusive agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan through the Scarborough Chamber of Commerce and one of the four agents servicing the Toronto Board of Trade.
Richard's background in the insurance business spans three decades. He entered the insurance business in 1977 with Federated Mutual where he was a multi-lines broker. With that experience and training, he obtained his unrestricted R.I.B.O. licence and entered the independent market in 1987 opening his own brokerage. This continued until 1991 when Richard joined Norbram Group Insurance as an associate broker where he manages a large book of business focusing on both individual and group benefits insurance.
Along with his volunteer work with the Scarborough Chamber of Commerce, Richard also acts as a volunteer instructor with Centennial College.
Ken Mott

Ken started his career with Norbram Group Insurance in 1994 after retiring from the Canadian Forces as a Senior Air force Officer.
Ken's book of business is substantial, arguably among the largest in Canada.
Ken has a Bachelor of Commerce degree ('71) from Loyola of Montreal (now Concordia). He has lived on his farm in the Alliston area with his wife Sue since 1983.
Ken and Sue have successfully competed with the Canadian Equestrian Team (Driving) since 1998 in North America and Europe, having competed in 5 World Championships.
Ken's 3 children, Jeremy, Jamie and Kaitlin, now work with him at Norbram.
Ray Meyer

As an associate broker with Norbram Group Insurance for over 25 years, Ray is also the exclusive agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan through the Halton Hills Chamber of Commerce.
Brett Tanner

As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Brett is also the exclusive agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan in North York servicing the Toronto Board of Trade. Brett was recently appointed Regional Marketing Director for the Chambers Plan in Ontario.
Brett began his insurance career with Norbram Group in 1997 and is licensed as a life insurance broker and as well as being a Certified Financial Planner.
Brett is a 3 time recipient of the Edward J. Barilla Memorial Award as the top advisor in the province for the Chambers Plan as well as a one time winner of the Chuck Cino Award. Brett is also a past Board member for the North York Chamber of Commerce where he was Volunteer of the Year in 2001.
President of Tanner Financial, a sports enthusiast; Brett has coached hockey and soccer for over 20 seasons in York Region.
Brett is also very proud to run the Tanner Financial Charity Golf Classic each year benefitting autistic children. Over the first 4 years the event has raised over $25,000 towards helping these children and their families.
Jamie Mott

As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Jamie is also one of the four exclusive agents for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan through The Toronto Board of Trade.
Originally from the Barrie area, Jamie came to Norbram as a Marketing Co-op student from Georgian College in 1998. After completing his diploma, he immediately attained his insurance license in 1999 and began full-time with Norbram as a Group, Life and Disability consultant.
Jamie has enjoyed success working with several of the top insurance carriers in the marketplace and has maintained a position on the list of Top 100 agents in Canada with the Chamber Program. He is also a Gold Key representative with Great West Life and a V.I.P. broker with Manulife Financial.
Daniel Hutton

As a Group Benefits Consultant with Norbram, Dan focuses on employee benefit packages for businesses of all sizes and personal protection for the owners and executives of those companies. In addition to Group insurance, Dan provides advice in the areas of Life Insurance, Disability insurance and Critical Illness insurance solutions, specifically geared towards business owners and their key staff members.
Dan has been part of the Norbram team since 2002 and has achieved many sales and service awards for his excellence in production and customer service. He is proud to be an exclusive agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan in the Vaughan and Newmarket Chambers of Commerce. In addition, Dan is also recognized as a preferred broker by the top 8 benefit providers in Canada.
Splitting his time between the Vaughan and Newmarket areas, Dan is an active member of both business communities through business development and young professional groups.
Personally, Dan is married with a new daughter and resides in the Newmarket area. He enjoys a healthy and active lifestyle.
Jeremy Mott

As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Jeremy is our agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan through the Brampton Board of Trade, Greater Barrie Chambers of Commerce, and Springwater Chamber of Commerce. Jeremy has maintained a position on the list of Top 100 sales producers in Canada with the Chamber Program since 2006. Originally from the Barrie area, Jeremy came to Norbram after 10 years as a table games dealer at Casino Rama.
Manuel Ferreira

Manuel obtained his insurance licence in 2007 after a 17 year career as Operations Manager for a North American wide distributor of construction materials.
As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Manuel is an exclusive agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan in North York servicing the Toronto Board of Trade and in Brampton servicing the Brampton Board of Trade. Additionally he provides expert consultation and advice in the areas of employee benefits, life insurance, disability and critical illness for individuals and companies of all sizes and industries.
Manuel’s focus is on individual employee benefits, critical illness, disability and life insurance for owners and employees of small businesses. Manuel is also fluent in both Spanish and Portugese, while representing the Toronto Hispanic Chamber.
Christopher Tanner

As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Chris is an exclusive agent for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan in North York servicing the Toronto Board of Trade. Additionally he provides expert consultation and advice in the areas of employee benefits, life insurance, disability and critical illness for individuals and companies of all sizes and industries.
Chris joined Norbram in 2008 and has put his previous experience with geriatrics and the health care industry to use. He prides himself in providing exceptional customer service and value to all clients.
In 2001 Chris received an award from York Regional Police for excellence in keeping the community safe. Chris is proud to have helped organize the Tanner Financial Charity Golf Classic each year benefitting autistic children. Over the first 4 years the event has raised over $25,000 towards helping these children and their families. Chris is now a proud member of the Rotary Club of Don Mills.
Chelsea Dell

As an independent life insurance broker with Norbram Group Insurance, Chelsea is also one of the exclusive agents for the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan through the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce, and one of the agents servicing the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce.
After completing her Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Windsor's Odette School of Business, Chelsea joined the insurance industry with Great-West Life as an Account Manager in the Selectpac Department in 2006. There she excelled in relationship building and lead the company in premium in 2007.
February 2009, Chelsea obtained her Life Insurance License and joined Norbram. Her focus is, Employee Benefit Solutions, Life Insurance, Disability and Critical Illness for companies of all sizes.
Chelsea has volunteered for the lung association and has her teaching certificate in Indoor Cycling as well as Tennis.
Bill Hutton

In his role with Norbram, Bill is focused on providing employee benefits solutions. He is the exclusive agent marketing the Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan in the Markham area through a strong partnership with the Markham Board of Trade. In addition, Bill also provides expert consultation and advice in the areas of life insurance, disability insurance & critical illness insurance for business owners & employees.
Prior to joining Norbram in 2010, Bill worked with Great-West Life for 6 years in a sales and marketing position Bill graduated from Brock University in 2004 with an Honours Degree in Business Administration. With a commitment to continued learning, Bill acquired his Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) designation in 2011.
Bill is an active member of the Markham Board of Trade, and currently holds the Chairman position for the Markham Board’s Young Professionals Committee. Outside of the office, Bill enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering for numerous local sports teams.
Tanyalea Tanner

Tanyalea graduated from Georgian College in 2010, with an Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management. As part of her program Tanya took many classes that focused on marketing, business management, customer service, sustainability and strategic planning. Tanyalea was appointed by her classmates to be a “President,” for her business simulation class, where she learned how to create and maintain a successful and sustainable business. She also received the Tourism Action Plan Award at her graduation from Georgian College for creating a 3-5 year action plan for the town of Coldwater
Tanyalea uses her administration and customer service skills to manage client support for Tanner Financial. She recently became a licensed mortgage agent (Lic #. M12001313), and prides herself in providing exceptional customer service to clients.
Kaitlin Mott

A new addition to Norbram, Kaitlin obtained her insurance licence in 2011 after completing her Masters degree in Forensic Anthropology in the UK. She currently works as Ken Mott's assistant as she continues to learn the business.
Mary Sinclair

Mary joined Norbram in January 1991 with the initial task of managing and implementing new data systems. Over the next few years she acted as receptionist and customer service representative. Since July 2000, Mary has held the position of Office Manager, Bookkeeper and Individual Insurance Administrator.
Leisure time is spent playing tennis, attending live theatre and gardening.
Nancy Sinclair

In July of 2004 Nancy joined Norbram in a Receptionist position. Within a year she was appointed to the position of Group Insurance Administrator, a position she still holds today.
As Norbram’s Group Insurance Administrator, Nancy interacts with clients to help them understand their policies, answering any questions they may have regarding filling out the various forms and handling any required benefit changes.
Outside of the office Nancy enjoys travelling to race half and full marathons and gardening.
Joan Watson

In 1987 Joan started her career in the life and group insurance industry, working for a brokerage firm as an administrative assistant. In March, 2005, she joined Norbram as a Receptionist and Customer Service Representative.
In her spare time Joan spends a lot of time with her grandchildren, enjoys cottage life, loves to read and belongs to Beta Sigma Phi – a social and cultural organization.
Nyrie Kouyoumdjian

Nyrie is a graduate of a Specialized Honours Political Science bachelor’s degree with York University. She currently serves as a Client Services Coordinator with the Tanner Financial team. She has a great interest in client and stakeholder relations, ensuring that client’s needs are met in a kind and professional manner.
Currently completing a master’s degree with York University, she hopes to utilize the strategic and critical thinking skills gained in this experience toward client services and group insurance needs.
Nyrie is fluent in English and Armenian and can also communicate in French at the introductory/intermediate level. She volunteers in many fundraising committees while in school and for her community centre.
Sharon Wang

Sharon Wang is a financial consultant and has been a licensed mortgage agent since 2009 (Lic #. M09002174). She successfully completed the Investment Funds Institute of Canada Course in 2008. She is also a tax professional providing tax preparation and planning services to our clients. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Sharon worked in the computer software industry for over 20 years focusing on financial software. She graduated from the University of Toronto Electrical Engineering in 1985 with a degree as a Professional Engineer. Sharon recently obtained her life insurance license, and is currently working on her CFP designations.
Sharon loves to work with people to help them to reach their financial goals. Sharon works from both the investment side and credit side to provide full, tax efficient and complete financial plans and solutions that focus on the specific needs of the clients.
